RENEWAL PROJECTION
An expired permit should never come as a surprise.
NAPSsoft projects the expiration of every permit, license, and authorization with the lead time you configure: from 30 to 180 days. When something needs attention, the coordinator already knows before it becomes urgent.
The problem it solves
Renewing a permit late is not negligence. It is a lack of visibility.
A filing with SEMARNAT can require months of management. A municipal operating license can be resolved in weeks. A SEDENA permit has its own processing timelines. Each one needs the process to begin at the right time: not so late that the deadline is missed, and not so early that the team is managing unnecessary renewals. NAPSsoft adapts the lead time to the filing, not the other way around.
START THE PROCESS ON TIME
Define the lead-time window for each permit type
Not all permits are equal. A SEMARNAT renewal can require up to 180 days of prior management: studies, technical documentation, authority response times. A municipal operating license can be resolved in 30. In NAPSsoft you configure the lead-time window by permit type, once, and the system applies that logic to all sites and all future dates.
CLEAR PRIORITIES
Automatic alerts to the coordinator, no surprises
When a permit enters its lead-time window, NAPSsoft automatically highlights it on the responsible coordinator's dashboard and prioritizes it by urgency. Upcoming renewals appear at the top of reports, with the assigned owner and prior evidence readily accessible to expedite the filing. The team knows what to address today, what to prepare this week, and what can wait until next month.
Agile status tracking
Reports make what is about to expire visible
Every report generated from NAPSsoft orders obligations by urgency: what is in red appears first, followed by what is in amber. Directors immediately see which sites have critical pending renewals without having to review permit by permit. The information arrives structured for decision-making, not as a flat list that needs to be interpreted.
Visual alert system
Three alert levels. Zero ambiguity.
NAPSsoft’s visual indicators are not just decorative colors — they are instructions for action. Each level has a clear meaning that the team interprets immediately, without needing to read additional text. Coordinators know exactly what needs attention today and what can wait until next week.
Green — Up to date
The permit is active and its lead-time window has not yet started. No immediate action is required. The team can focus on other priorities.
Amber — Start renewal
The permit has entered its configured lead-time window. It’s time to start the filing — with enough time to manage documentation, payments, and authority response times.
Red — Urgent attention
Expiration is imminent or has already occurred. It appears at the top of all reports and in the coordinator’s main view. Immediate action is required to avoid operating without a valid permit.
60%
of regulatory non-compliances in industrial operations originate from permits that expired without the responsible team knowing with enough time to act.

CAPABILITIES
Everything included in this module.
Renewals are what keep coordinators’ workflow active. Managing them on time avoids costly fines, sanctions, and operational risks from expired permits, keeping operations uninterrupted and compliance always up to date.
Configurable lead time windows per procedure
Set a lead time of 30 to 180 days per permit type. Complex procedures with federal authorities can be configured with months of lead time; expedited procedures, with weeks. Each type has its own rule.
Priority renewals at the beginning of each report
NAPSsoft reports sort obligations by level of urgency. Items in red appear first, followed by amber. Directors and coordinators read the report in the order in which they must act.
Operational workload projection by coordinator
View how many renewals each coordinator has assigned in the next 30, 60, and 90 days. Redistribute the workload before it concentrates in a single period or on a single team member.
Renewal cost estimation per period
Project renewal costs by month or quarter to facilitate EHS budget planning. Exportable for financial reviews without the need for manual data consolidation.
