NAPSsoft centralizes the tracking of NOMs from STPS, SEMARNAT, and other agencies by location. From NOM-035 on psychosocial risk to NOM-010 on chemical agents, every standard has its linked documentation, updated status, and evidence ready for inspection.
The problem it solves
Complying with NOMs is not enough. You need to be able to prove it when the inspector arrives.
STPS has more than 40 active Mexican Official Standards for industry. SEMARNAT has its own regulatory obligations. Each one with specific criteria, required documentation, and possible sanctions for non-compliance. The problem is not being unaware of them: it is not having a system that organizes them by site, links their evidence, and keeps their status updated between one inspection and the next.
NOMs per operation
Assign the applicable NOMs to each location
From each location's profile, the administrator enables the NOM module and assigns the standards that apply to that site. NOM-019 on safety commissions, NOM-030 on preventive services, NOM-017 on personal protective equipment, or any other applicable standard can be assigned directly from the location detail or from the complete NOM database available on the platform. Each assigned standard lives in its own tab, separate from the permit and license catalog.

Link compliance documentation to each standard
For each assigned NOM, the team uploads the documents that demonstrate compliance: training certificates for NOM-035, monitoring results for NOM-010, safety commission records for NOM-019, or any required technical evidence. Documents are linked directly to the standard and the location, accessible from the NOM detail or from the site profile.

Monitor status and follow up by site
Each assigned NOM has its own status linked to the location. The team checks which standards are up to date, which ones need attention, and generates the corresponding report. When a NOM no longer applies to a site, it is unassigned without deleting it from the platform, keeping the history intact.

The NOM module has built-in role logic. The administrator decides which locations have the module enabled when setting them up, preventing sites that don’t need it from accumulating unnecessary configurations. Coordinators work from a clean view of the standards assigned to their locations. Each role accesses exactly what it needs, with no extra noise.
Administrator:
Enables or disables the NOM module by location from the site settings. Controls which standards are available for assignment and keeps the database organized at the portfolio level.
Coordinator:
Works from the NOMs tab for each location. Assigns standards, uploads compliance documents, and checks status without needing access to the platform’s global settings.
Director / Auditor:
Accesses NOM status by location to validate compliance, review uploaded documentation, and prepare evidence for STPS, SEMARNAT inspections, or customer audits.

Active STPS NOMs apply to the manufacturing industry in Mexico. NOM-035 on psychosocial risk, NOM-030 on preventive services, and NOM-019 on safety commissions are mandatory for virtually any workplace. Having them organized by site is not a competitive advantage: it’s a requirement to operate.

When a NOM no longer applies to a location, it is unassigned without removing it from the platform or deleting previously uploaded documents. The compliance history remains intact for retrospective audits or changes in regulatory scope.

The location-based enable switch lets the administrator activate the NOMs module only where applicable. A manufacturing plant can have the module active with 15 assigned standards, while an office in the same group does not have it enabled.
Scalable to any portfolio size
The location-based assignment model works equally well for a company with 2 plants as for one with 150. Each site maintains its own NOM catalog, its own documentation, and its own status, without one site’s configuration affecting the others.
